THE ARCHITECTURE OF FIT
A well-made gown is built from the inside out.
With layers, structure, boning, lining, delicate fabrics and carefully balanced proportions, altering it properly requires the same level of technical understanding as the original construction.
I look at both sides: how the dress is made, and how your body is shaped. This allows me to create an alteration plan that respects the garment, supports your body, and works with your personal needs.
FIT PLANNED AROUND YOU
Every dress is assessed through structure, construction and body shape.
With training in fashion design, pattern cutting and bridal garment construction, I plan each alteration around the dress, your figure, and what you want to achieve.
From bodice reshaping to internal support, hems and delicate fabric work, every adjustment is made with purpose.
WHY REFINEMENT MATTERS
You finally found the dream dress but it only part of the journey; the true magic happens when it fits your body. A gown can look beautiful on the hanger or on the model, yet still need adjustment to fit your shape, support you properly, and feel comfortable to wear.
I refine the fit, support and proportion — or restyle the shape where needed — so the dress feels more like it was made for you.

To maintain precision and quality, I accept a limited number of bridal and eveningwear projects each month. If your garment matters, book early.

I work with bridal, evening and occasionwear clients who need more than a simple alteration.
With a background in fashion design, pattern cutting, garment construction and bridal atelier work, I look at each dress through structure, proportion and fit.
Every piece is assessed carefully, from the way it sits on the body to how it moves, supports and flatters.
Based in Kingston upon Thames, SUU Bespoke is a private appointment-only atelier for designer-led dress alterations and refinements.
